You will have a lot more fun, will be more relaxed and will look more attractive. I also wouldn't dismiss bars - but go there with friends. Shared interests can be a great first step for a relationship. At the same time, people you are friends with are much more likely to be in tune with your views and will in turn engage mostly with other people who aren't assholes :-). Your friends will meet new people all the time and in turn you might meet them too. Your best shot is to build a circle of friends and engage in activities that interest you.Ī circle of friends acts as both an 'asshole-filter' and a great source of new acquaintances. Dating apps and bars do not necessarily help there.
Ideally ones who have the same interests and general outlook on life as you have.
